WRITING COURSE

WRITING FOR CHILD AND ADOLESCENT MARKETS. (7 Weeks: 3 February – 17 March.)

This module will deal with reading and analysis, writing practice, and marketing opportunities in the basic genres of children’s literature: picture books, poetry, fiction and non-fiction.


Class Times and Venue: Thursdays, 18h00-20h30, in the Upper Hall, St Columba’s Presbyterian Church, 45 Lurgan Avenue, Parkview. A course fee of R1250 is payable after the first class.

The facilitator: Dr Donna Wyckoff-Wheeler is an alumnus of the Ohio State University, where she specialised in Applied English, folklore and narrative studies.
