Join SCBWI Gauteng in a Sketchbook Project
Buy or make a sketchbook sized between A5 and A4. It can open up to any size but must close to between A4 and A5.
Draw / write anything you like in your sketchbook during the next few months.
SCBWI Gauteng will also set a theme for each month, although you're free to do your own thing if you prefer.
Use any techniques or tools. Express yourself freely.
Writers AND illustrators can participate so it could be a sketchbook or journal.
The sketchbooks will be displayed on the SCBWI stall at the 2011 Cape Town Book Fair to be held between 16-19 June.
All sketchbooks must be submitted to a venue in Johannesburg or Cape Town by the end of May 2011.
Sketchbooks will be returned to you (if you wish) if you live in Johannesburg, Pretoria or Cape Town, or else they will become part of the SCBWI Gauteng libraray.
There is no participation fee.
